I help destinations and tourism businesses with accessible tourism, from communication and marketing to visitor experiences.

Accessible Tourism Consulting
Do you know what your guests actually encounter? Through on-site visits and testing, I assess accessibility at venues and attractions open to the public, and deliver concrete reports and recommendations that give a real basis for improvement.
I also provide consultancy on how accessibility information should be presented on your website, including concept proposals for a dedicated accessibility page and review of digital content against WCAG standards, the international guidelines that ensure websites can be read and used by everyone, including people who are blind or visually impaired.

Destination Content & Communication:
Good accessibility content goes far beyond mentioning lifts and ramps or labels like «wheelchair friendly» and «adapted».
Visitors with disabilities need concrete, relevant information to plan their visit and assess whether what you offer suits their needs.
Through on-site visits and testing, I produce texts, guides and travel itineraries for your websites and digital platforms, content that builds trust and makes it easier for more people to choose you.

Speaking & Webinars
Accessibility and accessible tourism are topics many want to address, but few know where to start or what they really involve in practice.
I deliver talks, webinars and presentations for industry events, conferences and internal gatherings.
Topics range from inclusive communication and creating great visitor experiences to what accessible tourism actually means, and why it strengthens both commercial results and brand reputation.

About Me
My name is Adele Heidenreich and I work as a consultant and writer in accessible tourism. I collaborate with destinations and public-facing businesses to strengthen their work on accessibility, inclusion and the quality of the visitor experience.
Having visited more than 70 countries and lived on four continents, I approach every project with a practical and solutions-focused perspective, grounded in how travel and visits actually work.
As someone who relies on crutches, accessibility is part of my everyday life. That perspective shapes everything I do, from how experiences and accessibility are assessed to how information and marketing are built and communicated.
